This Cookie Policy explains how TattooIdeas uses cookies and similar browser technologies on tattooideas.app. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

Cookies are small text files stored by a website in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and software-development kits that remember information or collect technical events.

2. Technologies We Use

Strictly necessary technologies

These technologies are required to operate or secure the Service and cannot be disabled through an in-site preference panel without breaking core functionality. They may include:

• Authentication and session cookies used by Better Auth to keep you signed in and protect account requests
• Security, load-balancing, and abuse-prevention technologies used by TattooIdeas and Cloudflare
• Checkout state needed to connect a payment confirmation from the provider shown on the current checkout page—Waffo Pancake, PayPal, or Stripe—to the correct account and credit package
• Language, theme, and interface settings needed to remember choices you make

Authentication sessions are configured to expire after seven days, although a cookie may be replaced or removed earlier when you sign out, delete it, or security requires it.

Browser storage used by creation tools

The AI Tattoo Generator may use session storage to preserve an unfinished design brief while you move through the sign-in flow. Virtual Tattoo Try-On uses in-browser memory and browser APIs to process artwork and render a preview locally. Session storage normally clears when the relevant browser session ends; local preferences remain until you change them or clear site data.

TattooIdeas' own usage records

TattooIdeas uses first-party cookies and browser storage to connect visits, entry sources and tool actions within a browser session, including use without an account. We also maintain registration, generation and payment records. Our own records run independently of the third-party Analytics choice and continue when that choice is off. Third-party analytics technologies

In production, TattooIdeas may enable Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Plausible, or Umami to understand visits, page performance, navigation, and product usability. The exact tools used depend on our deployment configuration. Some analytics providers use cookies or similar identifiers; privacy-focused configurations may operate without cookies.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, configured analytics remain disabled until Analytics is enabled and the choice is saved. We use Cloudflare's country-level request signal only to select this consent experience; we do not save the exact country in your cookie preference.

For visitors that Cloudflare identifies as being outside those regions, configured analytics may load by default without showing a first-visit prompt. You can disable them at any time through Cookie preferences in the footer. If a location cannot be determined, analytics remain disabled until you choose to enable them. An explicit saved choice always overrides the regional default.

Customer-support chat

When Crisp support chat is enabled, Crisp may use cookies, browser storage, and connection identifiers to provide the chat, remember a conversation, and protect the service from abuse. Opening or using the chat may send your message, IP address, browser details, and related technical information to Crisp.

Crisp remains disabled by default. It loads only when you separately enable Support chat and save your cookie preferences. Your analytics choice does not enable support chat, and your support choice does not enable analytics.

3. No Advertising Cookies

TattooIdeas does not currently use third-party advertising cookies to build advertising profiles or retarget visitors across unrelated websites. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide any choice or consent mechanism required by law before activating such cookies.

4. Third-Party Checkout and Sign-In

If you choose Google sign-in or checkout through the provider shown on the current checkout page, those providers may set or read cookies and similar technologies on their own domains. The payment provider may be Waffo Pancake, PayPal, or Stripe:

• Waffo Pancake may use essential, analytics, functional, advertising, and similar technologies on its hosted merchant-of-record service to operate and secure checkout, remember settings, and understand use of that service.
• PayPal may use cookies and similar technologies on its services to provide account or checkout access, remember preferences, perform analytics, process and secure payments, prevent fraud, and, depending on location and settings, personalize content or advertising.
• Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies on its hosted checkout service to operate and secure checkout, remember settings, process payments, prevent fraud, and understand use of that service.

These provider technologies are controlled by their respective policies and settings, not by TattooIdeas or the TattooIdeas in-site preference panel.

5. Your Choices

Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies and site storage. You can usually:

• Reopen Cookie preferences in the TattooIdeas footer to control Analytics and Support chat separately, save those choices, accept all, or reject all
• Delete stored cookies and local or session storage
• Block all cookies or only third-party cookies
• Restrict cross-site tracking
• Clear site data when closing the browser
• Use browser privacy signals or extensions that limit analytics

Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent Google sign-in, authenticated file access, checkout confirmation, language preferences, or other core features from working correctly.

Strictly necessary storage remains active through the in-site preference panel so sign-in, security, checkout, language selection, and saving your privacy choices can work.

For provider-specific controls, review the privacy and cookie settings offered by Google, Waffo Pancake, PayPal, Stripe, Cloudflare, the analytics provider, or Crisp.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when our technology or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest revision.
